“I’ll carry you home if I have to”

Back in 2019 a couple of my friends hired me for their Anniversary photoshoot. The challenge was to pick a spontaneous location. We picked a direction to drive in and kept going till we found something that hit our interests. We ended up finding a wooded back road with a tunnel of trees. I thought this location brought a feeling of mystery, a journey, peaceful.

On this photoshoot, I used my 85mm f1.4 for the first time. Working with the buttery bokeh and very shallow depth of field. The site was very dark from the tunnel of trees we were shooting in. Using the 85 mm shallow aperture of 1.4 was so useful. I could use its low light capabilities and allow the lens to let more light into the sensor for a brighter and sharper image.
